Update: NABS has decided to postpone our annual conference until Spring of 2021.
Due to the spread of COVID-19 and the many impacts it will have on our communities as well as the need to keep our elders and vulnerable safe, NABS is moving our conference from September 2020 to Spring 2021. We recognize that many of the conferences that were canceled recently will be made up this fall. Moving our conference to next year will allow more space for these other conferences to take place. It will also allow NABS more time for planning with our venue, presenters, participants, and exhibitors. We are planning a wonderful gathering for you and hope to see you in 2021.
We are seeking proposals from tribal enterprises for host venues to hold our annual national gathering for boarding school healing in the U.S.
PROPOSALS DUE BY: April 30, 2020
The following is a preliminary schedule of planned milestones for the conference. Please note that failure to submit requisite documents by the dates and times listed may result in disqualification of your bid. This schedule is subject to change by NABS as needed without notice:
- RFP Issued: 2/24/2020
- Bids Due: 4/30/2020
- Award: 5/31/2020
- Conference Dates: March 29-April 1, 2021 –or– April 5-8, 2021 –or– April 19-22, 2021
NABS anticipates that a successful bidder will be selected on or about the last week of May 2020.
All proposals will be received via email. No phone calls or snail mail.
Proposals must include all documents in one single PDF file.
