NABS Day of Remembrance

Day of Remembrance 2024 (Email Header)

The National Day of Remembrance, celebrated annually on September 30th, honors the children who died during the Indian boarding school era, a time of forced assimilation of Native American peoples. It also recognizes the strength of survivors and their descendants. By lighting flameless led candles, we remember those who suffered, acknowledge the lasting impact on Native American communities, and unite in the call for healing and justice.
