Deidre Whiteman (Meskwaki/Dakota/Ojibwe/Hidatsa), NABS’s Director of Research and Education, was featured in an article about the incredible work of Gookonaanig Endaawaad (Grandma’s House) to bring back Ojibwa traditions and language. Deidre talked about the impacts Indian boarding schools have had on Indigenous languages and cultures.
