Witness Blanket weaves residential school memories together

A giant “quilt” made out of hundreds of objects from Canada’s residential schools, from old doors and pieces of stained glass to belts used to punish aboriginal children, is going on display at the Canadian Museum For Human Rights. Pieces for the blanket came from residential school survivors, from schools sites, government buildings, from churches, and traditional structures.
